The Hobonichi Techo 2022 Store Exclusives include a “Not-Scary Bear's
Little Spoon,” an expression of our wish that you’ll be able to scoop up
your hopes. The bowl, the round head of the spoon, is imprinted
with a smiley face to put a smile right back on your own. The included
ball-chain can be attached at any of the holes at the edge of the design
to make this little spoon a charm you can attach to your journal zipper or
bag or anywhere else you’d like.
This genuine spoon was created
by an advanced cutlery production center in Tsubame City, Niigata. The
spoon comes packaged in one of three random designs showing Hobonichi's
Misunderstood Bear.

Hope is a very important
thing, so make sure you never lose it. A single pinch of salt can lock in
flavor for an entire dish, and hope is like that salt.
