Mörk is a one of a kind fiber art doll by Marianne Lind (MLindDolls, @mlinddolls).
Mörk has spent the entire winter underground in the darkness and as spring approaches, she is getting ready to emerge back into the light.
The doll is made from plant-dyed lambswool yarn, partly knitted and partly wet-felted to increase softness and durability of the wool Her limbs are jointed with natural wood and lava stone beads. She is stuffed with clean local lambswool. She is wearing a raggy NON-removable dress in plant-dyed handwoven cotton. Her hair is natural wool top from the Scottish Highlands. Glass eyes. Her bright collar was custom made for MLindDolls by the talented Ukranian fiber artists Eva and Maria Karo of @evamaria.arts on Instagram.
Height: approx 30 cm / 12 inches.
Mörk is a display piece for adult collectors. Not a toy, not suitable for young children.
Comes in a canvas bag.
